What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care is a membership model for primary care. You pay a predictable monthly fee for covered primary care provided through the practice, without insurance billing, copays, or per-visit charges for those services.
The goal is simple: more time with your physician, easier access when something comes up, prevention-focused care, and help navigating labs, imaging, specialists, and outside services when needed.
Direct Primary Care Membership Includes:
Covered primary care for preventive, chronic, and acute needs
Longer visits with a physician who knows you
Same- or next-day appointments for urgent primary care needs whenever possible
Direct communication with your physician through secure messaging, email, or phone
Selected in-office procedures and point-of-care testing
EKG and point-of-care ultrasound when appropriate in primary care
Specialist coordination and specialist-informed care plans through eConsults
Help identifying high-value options for outside labs, imaging, medications, and specialist care
Important note
Direct Primary Care is not health insurance. Members are encouraged to maintain insurance for services outside the practice, including hospital care, emergency care, outside urgent care, specialist fees, advanced imaging, lab, and pathology services, and medications not provided through the practice.
