Some services that involve outside parties may incur additional costs, such as: send-out lab and pathology (negotiated discount cash prices are available), hospital and emergency care, outside specialists, advanced imaging (eg. CT/MRI), medications, and any outside medical services not directly provided by Bainbridge Direct Primary Care. You can choose to use insurance or cash pay for these services.
Bainbridge Direct Primary Care does not bill or receive payment from insurance carriers. This allows us to focus on more direct, flexible, and comprehensive primary care without the limitations associated with insurance billing.
Direct Primary Care membership is not health insurance. A Direct Primary Care membership can pair well with a high‑deductible or lower‑premium health plan, but health insurance remains important for hospital and emergency care, outside specialists, advanced imaging, medications, and any services not provided by Bainbridge Direct Primary Care.
